Food we have everyday includes rice which give us strength that we need for work. While having fish, meats, beans and eggs help in body repair.
Vitamin A
- Where to get: Fruits and Vegetables such as tomatoes and carrots are good source.
- Why you need it: Vitamin A promotes normal vision and prevents night blindness. It also helps to regulate your immune system and protect against infections.
- What you need to know: Excess intake over time can be harmful also. Too much may lead to headaches, bone and joint pain.
Vitamin D
- Where to get: Cheese, eggs and some fish(sardines & salmon). I guess you all also know that our body also makes vitamin D after being exposed to the sun.
- Why you need it: Helps to absorb calcium and phosphorous to build strong and healthy bones and teeth.
- What you need to know: Exposing arms and legs to the sun for 5 to 30minutes without applying sunscreen between 10am to 3pm~ twice a week should produce enough vitamin D.
