Food That We Eat ...


Food we have everyday includes rice which give us strength that we need for work. While having fish, meats, beans and eggs help in body repair.

Vitamin A

  • Where to get: Fruits and Vegetables such as tomatoes and carrots are good source.
  • Why you need it: Vitamin A promotes normal vision and prevents night blindness. It also helps to regulate your immune system and protect against infections.
  • What you need to know: Excess intake over time can be harmful also. Too much may lead to headaches, bone and joint pain.

Vitamin D

  • Where to get: Cheese, eggs and some fish(sardines & salmon). I guess you all also know that our body also makes vitamin D after being exposed to the sun.
  • Why you need it: Helps to absorb calcium and phosphorous to build strong and healthy bones and teeth.
  • What you need to know: Exposing arms and legs to the sun for 5 to 30minutes without applying sunscreen between 10am to 3pm~ twice a week should produce enough vitamin D.
