Vitamin C

  • Where to get: Commonly found in citrus fruits, papaya, strawberries, broccoli and tomatoes.
  • Why you need it: Helps with wound healing, healthy gums and blood vessels. Also protects the body from infections and assists in the absorption of iron.
  • What you need to know: Large doses may cause diarrhea and kidney stones.

Vitamin B6

  • Where to get: Bananas, soybean milk , meat and liver.
  • Why you need it: It's important in protein metabolism & helps in th eproduction of antubodies and haemoglobin.
  • What you need to know: Large doses taken over time may lead to nerve damage.
